Top Picks for September!

written on 30/09/2016 12:18pm

What a great summer to have been an Airbnb host in Bristol! In July and August alone over 27,400 Airbnb users made their way to the West Country to check in to a Bristol home. In fact, Bristol has been named as the third most popular destination in the country for Airbnb guests, falling close behind London and Brighton.

Now as the busy summer season comes to a close Air 360 are busier than ever with Hosts and Hosts-To-Be calling on our expertise to help keep their properties full and generating income.

We have chosen our two favourite properties that have added to our growing property portfolio this September. Both these hosts have handed their responsibilities over to our team while they seek warmer climates abroad! Neither of these properties has been listed on Airbnb before and we are sure that guests seeking accommodation in Bristol are going to be thrilled to see them offered.

Victoria’s Place is a beautifully designed apartment on Welsh Back with a balcony and an unbeatable view of the river. Victoria had shared her space before with friends and lodgers but she had not hosted on Airbnb before so we were there to help her get started!

Victoria’s place is a two bed property but due to her schedule as a member of British Airways cabin crew we will need to block out dates so she can still have her property when she is back on UK soil. At Air 360 we remain flexible and work with all of our hosts to find a rental solution that is going to suit them best. Victoria has put a lock on her bedroom door and keeps it separate so that we can rent out the whole apartment using the spare room as a one bed property when it is available; which luckily for us – is most of the time!

Why we think Victoria’s place is going to be a huge hit with visitors to Bristol

To start with Victoria’s place is huge! There is a large kitchen and big open plan living and dining area, secondly she has an amazing balcony sitting right over the river with a stunning view, thirdly the apartment is slap bang in the centre; just a ten minute walk from Bristol Templemeads, bus stops, shops, cinemas you name it! The list goes on …We are sure we will have no problems keeping Victoria’s place busy and making her money while she is away…. Check it out HERE.

Marie’s Place in Brislington has recently been refurbished and has a great big garden complete with picnic table! Marie had not rented her place before as she has lived in it full time for the past eight years. Like Victoria; Marie had a lot on her plate so was grateful for the hassle free and hands off approach we offer our new hosts. Marie’s place is sadly only with us temporarily, although she has not yet bought a flight home so we shall see!

Why we think Marie’s place is going to be a huge hit with visitors to Bristol

Marie’s place is in such a great location, it is perfectly quiet on an evening as it is just out of the city but right on the bus route making a trip to Bristol or even to Bath really nice and easy. Marie’s

place has free parking along the street out side, a lovely garden, a big sofa and sky TV. Her place is perfect for a cosy couples get away and there is plenty of room on the sofa if you have a little one in tow! Check it out HERE
